On the night of Monday, February 2, explosions went off in Russia's Belgorod region. Russian Telegram channels report drone attacks and air defense operations.

Russian Telegram channel Shot writes that residents of Stary Oskol heard at least six loud explosions in the north and northeast of the city. Russians also report a series of bright flashes in the sky.

Official information about the attack is not yet available.

January 25, it was reported that critical infrastructure in Belgorod was damaged after shelling. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov called the shelling "the most massive" ever.
