Estonian Foreign Minister: Pressure On Russia Must Become Unbearable

There can only be one conclusion.

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, following Russia's overnight air attack on Ukraine, has called for increasing pressure on Russia to the point where it becomes unbearable.

Tsahkna wrote this on the X social network.

The minister said recent moves by Europe, Ukraine and the United States to develop security guarantees, as well as events in Venezuela, have made Putin nervous.

"Russia's response was air terror against Ukraine, which killed civilians and left hundreds of thousands without heating, electricity and water in the middle of winter. Russia also again used the medium-range ballistic missile Oreshnik in a deliberately provocative strike near the borders of the European Union and NATO," the diplomat said.

He said it is clear that Russia remains on its old path, does not seek peace and has not abandoned its goal of destroying Ukraine.

"There can be only one conclusion. In order to force Russia to change course, international political and economic pressure must be increased to the maximum and become unbearable," Tsahkna said.
