AFU Drones Attacked A Factory Supplying Iskanders With Batteries

JSC Energia is on fire.

A factory of Energia JSC is on fire after a drone attack in the Russian Federation's Lipetsk region of Elets, OSINT analysis ASTRA has confirmed.

Witnesses' footage was filmed about 900 meters away from the attacked plant. Energia produces, among other things, batteries for UAVs, as well as batteries for aviation and navy.

This is not the first attack on the plant. On July 15, 2025, at least 4 UAVs hit the territory of the plant.

Before that, at least 12 drones landed on the territory of the Energia plant in Elets, Lipetsk region, ASTRA reported earlier. Before that, the plant was also attacked on the night of May 23. As a result of that attack, one of the workshops caught fire and 9 employees of the plant were injured.

The Energia plant specializes in the production of chemical current sources. The plant's products are widely used in various sectors, including defense industry, civil aviation, maritime transport and energy complex.

It also produces batteries and accumulators for Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems, Kh-35U cruise missiles and energy modules for specialized complexes.
