Paralympian Alexei Talai, who is actively involved in the removal of children from the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine to Belarus, said that because of sanctions, "friends and partners" have started to turn away from him, "Euroradio".

According to him, people refuse to cooperate both in business and, above all, in charity projects. Talai noted that the reason is often sanctions restrictions, as partners are "afraid of the consequences".

"Admittedly, even I did not expect - the sanctions are working," he wrote, adding that he understands the position of those who refuse to cooperate.

Reminder, Alexei Talai fell under the sanctions of the European Union in February 2024.
