Belarusian footwear manufacturer Belvest may start sewing army and tactical shoes for the Ministry of Defense of Myanmar, according to a message in the Telegram channel of Bellegprom. Representatives of the footwear holding Luch and Belvest held a working meeting with a delegation from that republic, "Euroradio" reports.

"At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of supplying modern army and tactical footwear produced in Belarus, <.. > high quality and reliability of products that meet the strict requirements of law enforcement agencies," Bellegprom said in a statement.

Reminder, in Myanmar in February 2021, there was a military coup. The leaders of the country were arrested, the power passed to the military structures. The country is still in a civil war, but the other day there were held the first parliamentary elections since the coup.
