The Russians Tried To Drive Into The Center Of Mirnograd At High Speed, But Were Destroyed

FPV drone operators destroyed a car with Russian occupants in the center of Mirnograd, Donetsk region. The video was posted on the network.

The video was reported by Telegram channel of the 79th separate Airborne Assault Tavricheskaya Brigade of the AFU.

How it happened

The brigade said that five Russian soldiers tried to take advantage of unfavorable weather conditions and drive into the city center at high speed.

Despite the bad weather, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detected the enemy's movements and transmitted the coordinates to the operators of FPV attack drones of the 79th ODShBr as part of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops.

As a result of the operation, according to the military, one occupant was eliminated, four others were wounded and a vehicle was completely destroyed.

Situation in Mirnograd

Boys of the 79th Combined Armed Forces Brigade continue to carry out search and strike operations in Mirnograd and the surrounding area, where the operational situation remains difficult.

Occupants do not leave attempts to accumulate forces in the central part of the city, where shooting battles continue.

"In addition to small infantry groups, the enemy sometimes tries to use light vehicles for a quick breakthrough deep into the settlement," the paratroopers said.
