Kukharev asked to join the government.

Alexander Lukashenko received the chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev with a report, BelTA writes.

The dictator said that he had no big claims to the current head of Minsk, but "manfully suggested the head of Minsk to discuss his desire to move to another position."

Say, Kukharev would like to move to a position in the government and some people in the government support it. But, according to Lukashenko, managing the capital is an important thing, Minsk is a showcase of Belarus, and Kukharev allegedly copes well with it.

Vladimir Kukharev has been chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee since September 2020. From 2018 to 2020, he was deputy chairman of the Prime Minister. He succeeded Anatoly Sivak as head of the capital, who went to the post of deputy chairman of the Prime Minister.
