Washington Does Not Rule Out A New Power Scenario In Venezuela

The U.S. is demanding maximum cooperation from the interim government.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the administration of US President Donald Trump is ready to use force to ensure that Venezuela's interim president Delcy Rodriguez cooperates as much as possible.

He said this in a speech prepared to address a hearing on Wednesday, January 28, quoted by Bloomberg.

The hearing is Rubio's first public appearance before Congress since the U.S. operation in Caracas that led to the detention of her predecessor Nicolas Maduro on January 3.
