Russia's Krasnodar Region And Kursk Were Attacked By Drones

On the night of January 27, Russia was attacked by drones: residents of the Slavyansk district of Russia's Krasnodar region and Kursk complained of a series of powerful explosions amid shelling, writes "Focus".

The same district of Russia's Krasnodar region came under drone attack for the second night in a row: the day before, UAVs hit a local oil refinery there. Russian Telegram channels reported about the repeated attack on the region.

Attack on the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation

The air alert in the region was announced around midnight. Russian monitoring channels warned of drones moving on a course toward the region. "Rosaviatsia" imposed restrictions at Krasnodar airport on landing and departure of airplanes.

Subsequently, information about the attack on the region began to appear in local publicks. Eyewitnesses complained to the media that the explosions began to sound around 01:40 hours: they were heard in different parts of the Slavyansk district of the region.

"Eyewitnesses claim to have heard 'bass explosions and engine whirring' from the direction of the Sea of Azov," the report said.

In total, eyewitnesses counted about 10 explosions. There was no information about the consequences of the attack at the time of publication.

It should be noted that on the night of January 26, drones also attacked the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. The network reported the shelling of the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, where a refinery came under attack.

Attack on Kursk

In addition, on the night of January 27, residents of Russia's Kursk complained about drone attacks. According to local channels, explosions were heard in the city around 01:00 hours, and eyewitnesses also saw bright flashes in the sky against the background of the shelling.

In general, residents of Kursk counted about 5-7 strong explosions in different parts of the city. There was no data on the consequences of the attack at the time of publication, Russian authorities did not comment on the shelling.
