The police named the condition under which they can be put in the SOP.

Children of Belarusians, who are considered by the authorities as "economic dependents," may be recognized as being in a socially dangerous situation (SDS). This was reported in the Interior Ministry, writes "Mirror".

The Ministry reminded that a person, recognized as not employed in the economy, pays "communal services" at full rates, if he is the owner of residential premises, "tenant, tenant, lessee, shareholder."

"In addition, economic dependents are deprived of the opportunity to use a soft loan, subsidy for the construction, reconstruction or purchase of housing, except for those who are in a difficult life situation (this status is determined by the commission to promote employment)," the Interior Ministry said.

In addition, minor children of "deadbeats" may "fall into the SOP, if both parents or the only parent for more than three months do not work or are not engaged in other activities authorized by law."

"At the same time, it must be established that the child's basic necessities of life are not closed: there is no food, clothing, shoes, a place for recreation, activities and games," the department listed.

The Interior Ministry noted that police officers carry out activities "aimed at conducting preventive work with non-working citizens, as well as with non-working citizens registered with the internal affairs bodies."

"For failure to appear at a preventive event, persons registered with internal affairs bodies may be held administratively liable (Article 24.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - "Disobedience to a lawful order or demand of an official in the performance of his official duties". - Editor's note), which entails a fine of two to one hundred basic units (Br4,500), as well as community service or administrative arrest," recalled in the department.
