"I Ask For Bread": Ukrainian Drone Helped An Elderly Woman In Kostyantynivka

Ukrainian UAV operator Maksim with the call sign "Malyuk" dropped bread from a drone to an elderly woman in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, who had written a request for help in the snow. This story was reported by the Main Department of Unmanned Aerial Systems "Phoenix" of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on its Facebook page.

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the incident occurred in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, which is being attempted to be seized by Russian occupation troops. As a result of the hostilities, civilians suffer first of all.

19-year-old Ukrainian serviceman Maksym "Malyuk", who is serving in the civil defense unit "Phoenix" of the GPSU, noticed from the air the inscription "I beg for bread" left on the snow by a local elderly woman. She was asking Ukrainian defenders for help.

The pilot observed the woman writing the message and dropped food from the drone.

"Always when I see such messages, I will respond to them. These are our people, we have an obligation to help them. We are here for them," Maxim emphasized.
