Ukrainian forces have captured a Russian serviceman who was involved in the shooting of Ukrainian prisoners last October in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this following a report by the first deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine Alexander Poklad.
"It is the Russian soldier who is responsible for the shooting of Ukrainian prisoners last October in Kursk region of the Russian Federation who has been captured. Every Russian murderer must answer for what he has done. So it will be," Zelensky said.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that all those involved in war crimes will be held accountable.
Zelensky also reported on the work of the Security Service of Ukraine to counter Russian sabotage in the rear.
"We are also countering Russian sabotage in the rear - thank you to the Security Service of Ukraine for protecting our citizens," the President of Ukraine said.
