The enemy made 50 assault attempts in the direction of Pokrovsk.
The Russians are constantly putting pressure on Pokrovsk. The main problem for the AFU is to timely identify and destroy enemy groups before they gain a foothold in the rear areas and start damaging logistics and positions.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence of the Rubezh brigade's surface-to-air missile artillery division Daniil Borysenko explained "24 Kanal" that despite the enemy's attempts to break through, the vast majority of the equipment manages to be detected and destroyed in time.
Pokrovsky direction remains one of the most difficult sections of the front, where the occupants are constantly pressing, using the invariable tactic of advancing in small infantry groups.
They seep through the joints between Ukrainian positions in order to penetrate into the rear areas, where they accumulate and attack the positions of drone operators.
- The main problem is to promptly identify the enemy groups that have infiltrated, and clean up the area by shock and search actions. Therefore, aerial reconnaissance works around the clock to identify the enemy even before they reach our positions and destroy them more effectively, - explained Borisenko.
The enemy often uses motorized assaults with the use of armored vehicles, tanks, cars, ATVs and motorcycles. They try to shorten the time of advance to the front line so that Ukrainian forces do not have time to destroy them.
After rushing the enemy infantry tries to accumulate and entrench themselves in forest belts and on the outskirts of settlements, from where it is more difficult to dislodge them. The overwhelming majority of enemy equipment can be detected and destroyed in time with the help of drones, artillery, mortars and fire support units.
- The situation is very difficult - over the past 24 hours the enemy has made 50 attempts of assault actions in the directions of Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, Novopavlovka, Nikanorovka, Kotlinoye, Rodinskoye and other settlements, - said Borisenko.
