The offensive operations of the AFU were announced by Syrsky.

Ukraine will carry out offensive operations, as it is impossible to win in defense. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Alexander Syrsky in an interview for LB.ua.

According to him, Russia's global plans for 2026 have not changed. The enemy aims to seize all of Ukraine and does not abandon its plans.

- All directions of offensive actions remain the same as they were. Only the timing, the number of weapons and personnel have changed. Everything else remains the same as it was. That is, they are sticking to their plans. We will conduct a strategic defensive operation, - Alexander Syrsky noted.

He also stressed that victory is impossible in defense.

- Therefore, accordingly, we will conduct offensive operations, fight to hold the operational initiative. This approach leads to the fact that the Russians are forced to attract and remove significant human resources, weapons and ammunition in order to contain the active actions of the Defense Forces," the AFU commander-in-chief concluded.
