Russian propagandists have passed off an old photo as proof of Putin's bathing in an ice-hole on Epiphany, Telegram channel "CHTD" reported.

The publication's journalists noticed that an eight-year-old photo was attached to a post about the Russian president's bathing in an ice-hole on Epiphany Day.

In reality, CHTD recalls, Putin has not taken a dip in an ice-hole for several years. The Kremlin's website did not report Vladimir Putin's "bathing".
