Smuggled Balloons Found In Poland Near Bialystok

In Poland's Podlaskie Voivodeship, the remains of two balloons carrying smuggled cigarettes were found.
It was reported by RMF24.
On Saturday night, the remains of smuggled balloons were found near the towns of Bialystok and Sokulki in Podlaskie Voivodeship. Local police suggested that the balloons came from Belarus.
The balloons were carrying cardboard boxes containing about 1,500 cartons of cigarettes without Polish excise stamps.
The police added that usually these types of balloons are equipped with tracking devices that help smugglers find packs of cigarettes.
