Czech Republic To Supply Ukraine With Combat Aircraft

Prague is ready to supply Ukraine with combat aircraft designed to fight drones in the near future, Czech President Petr Pavel said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev. This is reported by Reuters.

"The Czech Republic can in a relatively short time supply several medium combat aircraft that are very effective in the fight against drones, and I believe that we can quickly and successfully resolve this issue," Pavel said.

He did not specify what kind of aircraft he was talking about, but, as the agency notes, Pavel previously admitted the possibility of transferring to Ukraine subsonic L-159 fighters, which are in service with the Czech army.
