As a result of the Russian attack on Lviv, on January 15, stained glass windows in the architectural monument - the Church of Saints Olga and Elizabeth were damaged.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozitsky.
Kozitsky said that on January 15, 2026, the occupiers attacked a playground on Stepan Bandera Street in Lviv with a combat drone.
Communal workers, who were removing snow nearby at the time, were not hurt.
Windows were smashed in nearby residential buildings, as well as in the buildings of Lviv Polytechnic, a school and a college. A separate damage was caused to an architectural monument - the church of St. Olga and St. Elizabeth was damaged stained glass windows.
In addition, because of the attack in the city introduced temporary changes in public transport.
