The AFU Received The First Trophies Of The "combat Cavalry" Of The Russian Army

This is the first recorded case when such "transportation" of the occupants got to the Ukrainian fighters.

The Russian army has started using horses to ferry assault vehicles to the front lines due to an acute shortage of equipment. This was previously reported in the AFU, and now the first confirmed trophies have appeared, reports Dialog.UA with reference to the 1st separate assault regiment of the AFU.

In the Gulyaypol direction, the Ukrainian military captured horses that had previously been used by Russian units. This is the first recorded case when such "transport" of the occupants got to Ukrainian fighters.

Information about the movement of Russian occupants on horseback appeared back in 2024. Back then, Ukrainian defenders recorded attempts by the occupiers to use horses to approach positions.

The reason for all this absurdity is simple: the AFU notes that Russia is losing armored vehicles and equipment so quickly that primitive and outdated methods of movement are increasingly used in assault attacks.

At the same time, Ukrainian warriors note that horse-mounted attackers are also becoming easy targets for drone operators. At the same time, the idea of mounted assaults did not arise spontaneously. Back in September, the commander of one of the units of the Russian army initiated the preparation of special mounted groups for attacks on the front, the Russian propagandist Semen Pegov openly wrote about it then.
