For a new meeting with Putin.

U.S. President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner plan to travel to Moscow in the near future to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Bloomberg reported, citing its sources.

According to the publication's interlocutors, the meeting could take place this month. At the same time, the plans have not been finalized yet, and the timing could be pushed back due to events in Iran.

A White House spokesman said that no such meeting is planned at the moment. The Kremlin did not respond to a request for comment.

According to one source, it is still unclear how interested Putin is in a second meeting with the pair, and that appears to be the main obstacle to setting a date.

Other sources said U.S. officials will present Putin and his team with the latest draft plans.

The discussions are expected to touch on security guarantees that the United States and Europe would provide to Ukraine to ensure compliance with any peace agreement, as well as the country's post-war reconstruction.
