Russians Drive Children To The Front Line In Luhansk Region

Minors are used as "live props".

In Luhansk region, the occupants organized religious prayer services near the front line with the participation of children.

The Russians are trying to create propaganda footage with military and church symbols, ignoring the real risks to the lives of minors, the Center for National Resistance reports.

According to the CNR, the Russian Federation deliberately attracted children from the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region to religious events in the frontline zone.

Children were organized to be taken from the settlements of the VOT to places that are within the range of artillery and drones, and forced to participate in religious services and filming.

Children were used as "live props" - next to the military, during prayers and for propaganda photos and videos. Some minors were transported by buses through schools and "patriotic" organizations, without real parental consent.

Priests controlled by the occupation administration played a special role. They accompanied children, blessed the military and justified the presence of minors with rhetoric about "unity" and "service" to the army, effectively becoming complicit in the militarization of childhood.

Children's refusal to participate is recorded by the occupation authorities and can have consequences for families, from pressure on parents to problems in schools.

"The occupation authorities deliberately expose children to mortal danger, turning their lives into an instrument of information effect. War is presented as a 'norm' for minors, and propaganda footage of front line and church symbols replaces real concern for their safety," the CNS said.
