On Two Directions, The AFU Recovered Five Times More Territory Than It Had Lost

The Ukrainian military has successes on several directions of the front. In particular, in Pokrovskyi and Dobropolskyi they managed to de-occupy a significant part of the front.

About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to the message of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrskyi.

"Worked in areas of active combat operations - in Pokrovskyi, Dobropolskyi, Severskyi directions. Spent work at the command posts of units performing combat tasks in these areas of the front. The Pokrovsky direction remains one of the most difficult. Over the past week, our units have repelled about 350 enemy attacks," Syrskyy noted.

He noted that Russian troops have concentrated their main efforts in the Pokrovsk direction, creating the largest offensive grouping.

Despite this, the Defense Forces units were able to regain control over 26 square kilometers of Ukrainian land, having lost 5 square kilometers in August. A similar ratio in Ukraine's favor was also recorded in the Dobropillya direction.

"Heard reports from commanders on the ground, particularly on issues requiring urgent solutions. I gave the necessary orders to strengthen the stability of the defense. We are providing units with additional ammunition and drones, strengthening REB and fortifications," the commander-in-chief added.
