Ukraine is creating new types of weapons that have not been previously developed in the world due to lack of need. In particular, we are talking about the new Flamingo missile.

Such a statement was made on air of the TV channel "Kyiv24" by a former air force officer, deputy director of the company of the manufacturer of REB means Anatoliy Khrapchinskiy.

"We are going in the direction of those weapons that have been reduced or destroyed for a long time because [they] were not needed," he said.

As an example, he cited the Flamingo cruise missile produced by Fire Point - with a range of up to 3,000 kilometers and a warhead of 1,000 kilograms.

"This is an example of a weapon that does not exist in the world because there was no such need. We have a need to load the enemy's air defenses. We have a need to launch significant strikes with large payloads," Hrapczynski explained.
