SBU Officer: Kremlin Fears Rebellion

A wave of crime and army protests is coming to the RF.

The war with Ukraine has become a tool for the ruling elite of Russia to retain power in Russia. And if there is no war, the Kremlin will lose such a tool. This opinion in a conversation with "Glavred" was expressed by military expert, former SBU officer Ivan Stupak.

"All these boys in panties will return home and criminalism may reign. By the way, since last year Putin's administration has been holding events aimed at employing those who returned from the war," says Stupak.

The expert explains that all those who returned from the war want to employ them so that there are no negative consequences.

"A career elevator is being created, the task is to place them in the legislature, in the regional assembly. Because they are afraid that people with combat experience will go either to criminal organizations or to opposition movements. To prevent this from happening, they are thinking up ways to keep them busy," the expert said.

The option that Russia will run the risk of conflicts between this new "political class" and the old one cannot be ruled out.

"In any case, war is life for these people. Their thinking looks like this: there is war - movement forward, there is no war - we should talk about something else. And it will be unpleasant to talk about something else, especially about losses in battles for territories that have become scorched earth. There is nothing there, it is worse, probably, even the Chernobyl zone. In this context, I keep talking about the Kharkiv region. The Russians have not been there that long, but the territories are still being demined. And what then to say, for example, about Bakhmut? Or the entire Donetsk region. I assume that its demining will take years," Stupak summarized.
