Russians Withdraw Troops From Ukraine's Sumy Region

The number of attacks by Russian invaders in Sumy region has significantly decreased. This said the representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andrii Demchenko in the broadcast of the telethon.

"Guys from our units that are within the Sumy region in the direction where the enemy continues to conduct its active actions by small infantry groups - these are Khotyn and Yunakovo communities, say that the number of attacks or actions of the enemy has significantly decreased than it was at the beginning, when the enemy tried to advance deep into the territory of our country in this direction," Demchenko said.

He added that the occupants' units, which suffered heavy losses in this direction, are also actively changing.

"The enemy is gradually withdrawing its accumulated forces from this direction, moving them to the south as well," Demchenko added.
