Today, Thursday, September 4, a meeting of a "coalition of the resolute" to support Ukraine began in Paris. The meeting is taking place at the Elysee Palace.

It is reported by Le Monde and The Guardian.

A special envoy of US President Donald Trump Steve Whitkoff is participating in the coalition. The association includes about thirty states, mostly European.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky arrived in Paris as early as Wednesday evening for a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron said the meeting is intended to "finalize the agreement of reliable security guarantees for Ukraine." At the same time, he noted that the room was full, with some leaders joining the discussion online.

After Macron's brief opening remarks, media representatives were asked to leave the room. The leaders are expected to hold a discussion with Trump and provide a press briefing after the meeting.
