Grodno Azot Has Shut Down A Workshop

Second incident in a week.

Hrodna residents were warned about the shutdown of the ammonia-3 shop at Grodno Azot, reported in the press service of the enterprise.

This happened on September 3, about 13:35 due to the interruption of air supply to the reforming stage of the shop.

The representatives of the industrial giant assured that the city residents have no grounds for concern.

"All the systems responsible for the shutdown of the shop worked normally," the press service said.

The ammonia-3 shop will be restarted within a day. As of the morning of September 4, there were no reports of successful restart. If the event falls at night, the flame of the flare unit will be visible.

Earlier, on August 29, 2025, an accident occurred in the boiler shop of the Chemvolokno Plant branch when the burner of a steam boiler was ignited. Two workers were injured and taken to a medical facility.
