Political Analyst: Lame Lukashenko Was Afraid That He Would Fall On The Podium In Beijing

  • 4.09.2025, 9:55

The dictator is unsure of his health.

Political analyst Alexander Klaskovsky analyzed Lukashenko's visit to China on "Pozirka":

- The media, which dislike the Belarusian autocrat, focused their attention on how he limped on the red carpet in Tiananmen Square. Yes, the same square where Chinese authorities crushed a student protest with tanks in 1989.

Lukashenko himself has smashed the square more than once, and kept armored vehicles ready at the height of the 2020 protests, so the peculiar reputation of the parade site did not embarrass him, of course.

But the temperature did. The day before, meeting with Putin in the Chinese capital, the "younger brother" issued his alarm:

"It's true, it will be hot, Vladimir Vladimirovich. Under 40, 35 [degrees]. Even you will be hot. I'm already thinking how we're going to stand in the sun on this. But, they say, they will provide [temperature comfort on the podium]."

By the way, in July of last year the Dozhd TV channel reported that Lukashenko became ill at the SCO summit in Astana.

Yes, the years take their toll. And it's no secret that it is with the prospect of the inevitable biological end of the ruler of Belarus that many of his opponents pin their hopes for changes in the country.

August 22, in a conversation with state propagandists, Lukashenko reacted to the painful topic: "fugitives" often write that "Lukashenko is dying". And refuted the detractors:

"I recently underwent a full medical examination for the first time in my life in two days. <...> I don't mind: hand over all the research, and let them publish it. All the more, iffu-tufu, I am glad: everything is normal".

True, no publications followed. However, it is not a problem to make up a phony letter to that effect.

Another point is indicative. According to Lukashenko, he was informed (I think by the KGB) that "some special services, including friendly ones, are probing the health of the president".

It is easy to guess that this issue is of great interest to the Kremlin friends. In order not to miss the moment when it will be possible to spend their man in the ladies. After all, Lukashenko is not a hundred percent puppet, and Moscow needs a hundred percent puppet.
