Trump Promised To End The War In Ukraine And Knock On Wood

The U.S. president once again said he was disappointed with Putin.

US President Donald Trump has expressed hope for an end to Russia's war in Ukraine and knocked on wood. He did so while speaking to US generals.

"I think eventually we will do it, in theory. I want to knock on wood because you never know [what will come out]," he said.

The American leader once again said he was disappointed with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He called the war the worst since World War II.
