The Minsk Subway Will Be Equipped With Russian "stranglers"

The city authorities want to purchase railcars from the Russian Federation.

Minsk held talks with representatives of the Russian enterprise Transmashholding to discuss the supply of cars for the capital's subway, the agency "Minsk-Novosti" reports.

Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev stated the need for supplies for the third subway line. Now three new stations of the Zelenoluzhskaya line are being actively built, and it is planned to complete this stage within the next two years. Additional rolling stock is needed for the launch of new sections.

Reminder, earlier Minsk citizens criticized the Russian-made cars. People called them "soul-carriers".
