Zelensky Arrived In France For The Summit Of The "coalition Of The Willing"

European leaders will meet to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Wednesday, September 3, arrived in France for the summit of the "coalition of the willing." This was announced by presidential spokesman Sergey Nikiforov, writes "Suspilne".

As noted at the Elysee Palace, Zelensky will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron in a bilateral format and take part in a working dinner.

September 1, the Elysee Palace said a "coalition of the willing" will meet in Paris on September 4 in a hybrid format.

The meeting is scheduled for 08:30 (GMT) and will be attended by Vladimir Zelensky, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President António Costa, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, among others. Other European leaders will join the summit via video link.

European leaders will gather to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine that they have been working on since meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on August 18. They will also discuss further steps to deal with the aggressor country Russia, which refuses peace.
