The conversation between the 72-year-old leaders of Russia and China accidentally made it into the official broadcast.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has confirmed discussions with Chinese President Si Jinping about extending life expectancy. He told reporters in China.

A journalist asked Putin whether he really believes that life can be extended to 150 years.

"Ah, yes, yes, yes, he is the one who, I think, when we went to the parade, the chairman [of China] talked about this. Well, yes, this topic was actively developed by Mr. [Silvio] Berlusconi (died at the 87th year of life on June 12, 2023 - note). Well, yes, modern means of recovery and medical means, even there surgical [operations] related to organ replacement, allow mankind to hope that active life will continue not as it is today, <...> but life expectancy will increase significantly," Putin said.

Putin and Xi discussed the topic of life continuation on the way to a military parade in Beijing. The words of the leaders and their translators accidentally made it into the official broadcast.

"In the past, people rarely lived to 70, but now at 70, you are still a child," the Chinese chairman said. According to Reuters, after Putin's reply, a translator translated into Chinese: "With the development of biotechnology, human organs can be transplanted continuously and people can get younger and younger and even achieve immortality." "According to forecasts, there is a chance of living to 150 years old this century," Xi Jinping added.

Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping are each 72 years old.

As Charter97.org reported, Putin agreed with Xi Jinping on exporting reindeer to China. In China, reindeer tails are used to prepare drugs for kidney disease, placenta is the main ingredient in potency soup, and young antlers are used in the creation of drugs that slow aging and improve performance.

The Times reported earlier that unconventional medicine has piqued Putin's interest, and the 72-year-old dictator allegedly regularly takes baths with blood extract from Siberian reindeer antlers. The average life expectancy of men in Russia is 67 years. Taking baths allegedly has a rejuvenating effect and improves male potency. As part of the procedure, antlers are cut from live animals once a year.

Meduza wrote about Putin's entourage being gripped by an obsession with life extension, citing sources close to the Kremlin. According to the newspaper, last year one of the officials in the president's entourage instructed Russian scientists to develop anti-aging drugs.
