Political prisoner Olga Chukareva suffered a stroke in the pre-trial detention center and almost completely lost her eyesight, Dissidentby reports.

Olga Chukareva was detained almost a year ago. She was tried under Article 361-1 ("Creation of an extremist formation or participation in it") and Article 369 ("Insulting a representative of the authorities").

"In the pre-trial detention center she suffered a stroke on the background of stress, after which she almost completely lost her eyesight. Despite this, Olga was sentenced to four years in prison," human rights activists report.
