The meteor burned up.
On the night of September 21-22, residents of Belarus and neighboring countries witnessed the passage of one of the brightest meteors of recent years - a superball, which was as bright as the full moon.
According to the Belarusian Meteor Network, the fireball passed almost over Soligorsk at exactly 02:00:18, moving in a northerly direction.
At the moment of its passage, the area was brightly illuminated, and the sky took on a rich blue hue.
The phenomenon was recorded by three cameras of the Belarusian Meteor Network, which made it possible to accurately determine both the trajectory in the atmosphere and the space orbit of the meteoroid from which the bolide was formed.
