Elections In Moldova Recognized As Valid

  • 28.09.2025, 19:31

Dodon is already preparing "protests".

In Moldova, the voter turnout at the parliamentary elections significantly exceeded 33.33%. This allows the elections to be recognized as valid. Meanwhile, the pro-Kremlin "opposition" has already announced protests.

This is reported by Newsmaker with reference to data from the Central Election Commission of Moldova.

As of 18:45 in Chisinau, more than 1.44 million voters, or 47.8%, cast their ballots in the parliamentary elections. This far exceeds the minimum required threshold for the election to be recognized.

In the meantime, the leader of the pro-Kremlin "Party of Socialists" and one of the leaders of the Kremlin-sponsored "Patriotic Bloc," former Moldovan President Igor Dodon has already told the press that the pro-Russian "opposition" will allegedly "win" the parliamentary elections.

At the same time, Dodon announced a "peaceful protest" on September 29 - saying that "it is necessary to protect the victory." The so-called "peaceful protest" is scheduled by pro-Russian forces for 12:00 noon on September 29.

"We must be ready tomorrow to defend our victory. The fact that the opposition will win this election is already obvious," Dodon said.

We would like to remind you that parliamentary elections are being held in Moldova on September 28. The main struggle is between two political parties - the ruling party "Action and Solidarity" (PAS) and "Patriotic Bloc".

"Action and Solidarity" has a pro-European and pro-Ukrainian position, while "Patriotic Bloc" is a pro-Russian political force, which is financed from Moscow and is against the EU and Ukraine. That's why the elections were called "decisive": the victory of the Kremlin's henchmen can dramatically turn the country's course in a bad direction for Moldova.

Pro-Russian forces are trying to disrupt the voting of the pro-European party supporters. In particular, foreign voting sites began to be fake "mined" - the diaspora can reverse the situation and give many votes for "Action and Solidarity".
