Zelensky: I Believe Trump Wants Ukraine To Win

American society has no respect for Putin.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky believes that American leader Donald Trump finally wants Ukraine's victory. He stated this in an interview with Axios.

"So now you believe that President Trump finally wants Ukraine to win?" the interviewer asked.

Zelensky replied, "Yes."

The journalist recalled that Donald Trump previously stated, "Oh, you know, because of Mr. Zelensky you don't have any cards." When asked what has changed since then, Zelensky said:

"I think President Trump has realized that Putin is not going to bring him success, even if we look at this moment in this way, society, American society, I think it's very important for the president of the United States," he said.

Zelensky added that the support of society is extremely important for any leader, and "American society doesn't respect or trust Putin and basically they don't believe that he wants to end this war."
