Agents of the Atesh guerrilla movement conducted reconnaissance of the Novosibirsk instrument-making plant (NPZ).

Atesh reports this in Telegram.

"The Atesh movement has reached Siberia, where it conducted reconnaissance of the Novosibirsk instrument-making plant (NPZ)," the guerrilla movement said in a statement.

This is a strategically important facility that is a key supplier of optical equipment for the Russian army and other security agencies.

What does the plant produce?

This company produces and supplies day and night sights, laser rangefinders and thermal imaging devices. Such optics are actively used by the occupants in all directions of the front, including tanks, armored vehicles, sniper and assault weapons. Now the refinery is under heightened security, which indicates its importance to Russia's military complex.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces already have the data collected on the security system, logistics and operating mode of the refinery.
