The change in the rhetoric of US President Donald Trump has been influenced by Ukraine's ability to produce its own weapons, thanks to which it is possible to strike targets behind Russian lines.

A military expert, founder of BO "Jet Mail" Pavel Narozhny said on air Radio NV. "Trump's rhetoric has changed significantly even compared to a few months ago. Indeed, Ukraine has the capabilities to produce [its own weapons - ed.]. I am more than sure that he was shown Ukrainian drones, and the success of strikes on oil refineries, and statistics on the destruction [of facilities on Russian territory], and the deficit, and the rise in gasoline prices in the Russian Federation - that this has an absolutely real impact on the Russian economy," Narozhny said.

He also expressed his belief that Trump was also told about the production of Ukrainian missiles, which are used to carry out absolutely real strikes. "And that there is no way Russia can stop this production, even with the presence of the same Iskanders," Narozhny added.

"And the most important thing is that we have already had three and a half years of war, the Ukrainian army is not just holding on, but counterattacking and in some parts of the front fighting off the territory in the current conditions, when we say that NATO's help is not enough for us now - that we need more, we need more shells, and more aircraft, and everything else. Even in these conditions, we can hold the front and counterattack," Narozhny noted.
