Poland refuses to open the border with Belarus.

More than 130 freight trains traveling from China to the EU were stuck in Brest after Poland closed the border with Belarus. This was reported by Chinese agency Yicai, citing a report by New Silk Road Intermodal Sichuan.

Assistant Director General of the company Tan Tingting told the agency that the freight trains were dispatched after September 12. Some of them have already arrived in Brest and are awaiting customs clearance.

At the same time, many companies are looking for alternative routes of cargo shipment: they send trains either through St. Petersburg and further by sea, or by the southern route through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia or Turkey.

September 12, Poland stopped transport communication with Belarus in response to the joint exercises of Belarus and Russia "West - 2025. After the end of the exercise, the border was not opened. In addition to stopping passenger traffic, the movement of freight trains, which China uses to ship its goods to Europe, was also halted. According to Politico, 3.7% of Chinese exports worth 25 billion euros are sent to the EU this way.

Poland seeks the release of prisoners of Lukashenko's regime and stop provocations with illegals on the border.
