Turkey's president revealed the details.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan does not believe the war in Ukraine will end soon.
He said this in an interview with Fox News.
Erdogan called this prospect "not very good news." "I don't really believe that the war in Ukraine will end soon. This is not good news," he said.
Erdogan also expressed his belief that Europe will not be able to provide economic aid to Ukraine forever, and Ukraine itself cannot compete economically with Russia.
Despite this, the Turkish leader expressed hope that partners' support for Ukraine will continue.
Erdogan earlier said he had discussed ending the war with dictator Putin during talks in China, as well as with Zelensky during phone conversations.
But Erdogan said the sides were "not yet ready" for the leaders to meet.
