What is happening near Dobropillya

According to Tregubov, the Russians were infiltrating in small groups through the first line of Ukrainian defenses, and already behind it, they combined these small groups with a larger one, occupied landings and tried to move forward. After that, the enemy would try to reinforce what they had already captured and move reinforcements.

"Somewhere at this stage they started to fail - thanks to effective countermeasures, we started hitting them, which started to destroy their logistics, and they started to lose ground little by little. This continues until today," the speaker noted.

He added that the Russians have "overstretched their troops on the front line." They are also now unable to provide sufficient supplies.

According to the military officer, the Russians tried to send reinforcements, but these actions proved fruitless.

"They actually have to stick through the "neck of the bottle", which is not very convenient for them. That's where they've gotten burned: the passage they left themselves was too narrow. And when they try to get some equipment in there, or to establish supplies, they get hit from both sides," Tregubov said.
