The AFU Liberated Seven Localities

The Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Dobropillya direction in Donetsk region have regained control over seven settlements, nine more have been cleared of enemy DRGs. This was reported by the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky on Monday, September 22.

He noted that over the past 24 hours Ukrainian defenders regained control over 1.3 km sq. km, and also destroyed the enemy on the territory of 2.1 km sq. km of Pokrovsky district. In some directions Ukrainian assault units advanced from 200 m to 2.5 km.

Syrsky also said that during the operation in the Dobropillya direction as of September 22, the Defense Forces liberated 164.5 km sq. km of territory and cleared 180.8 km sq. km from enemy DRGs.

The commander-in-chief said that the Russians lost 2,696 people in this direction, of whom 1,492 were irrecoverable.

The occupants also lost:

12 tanks,

38 armored combat vehicles,

175 artillery systems,

five MLRS,

441 vehicles,

58 motorcycles and ATVs,

one unit of special vehicles,

173 UAVs.
