Conor McGregor has expressed his willingness to step into the ring.

The fight tournament wants to be held on the South Lawn of the White House on the 250th anniversary of America's independence. Many UFC stars could meet in the octagon.

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that mixed martial arts fights under UFC rules will indeed take place near the White House. About 5,000 guests are expected at the event.

The fight show promises to be "massive, magnificent and unprecedented." The tournament could be held on the South Lawn of the White House on July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of America's independence.

UFC President Dana White has personal ties to Trump and is confident that a UFC tournament at the White House will definitely be a success. The UFC President's initiative will be a unique opportunity for fighters and fans.

"Trump is very proud of the White House, he loves America very much. He believes that the White House belongs to the American people. It's his calling. He wants to bring more Americans into the White House," White said.

He said MMA fighters will enter the arena from the famed Oval Office. UFC stars Conor McGregor and the recently career-ending Jon Jones have expressed a desire to perform. White doubts the latter's participation due to scandals related to him.

McGregor, meanwhile, has publicly named Michael Chandler as his preferred opponent. The latter also wants to meet McGregor in the octagon and is already calling the future fight the main event of the tournament near the White House.
