The Kremlin responded to American President Donald Trump's words that his Russian friend Vladimir Putin has let him down.

In particular, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov opined that Trump is very emotional about Russia's war against Ukraine.

He added that Russian authorities understand that the US and Trump personally are trying very hard and making efforts to put an end to the war.

"Therefore, of course, President Trump is quite emotional, let's say, about this topic. This is absolutely understandable," the Kremlin spokesman expressed.
