Saratov has been attacked for the second time in a week.

On the night of Saturday, September 20, drones attacked Saratov. Their target was the Saratov oil refinery (refinery), formerly known as the Cracking plant.

The refinery, which is part of the Rosneft oil company, burst into flames as a result of the hits. Relevant footage was published online, writes OOBZ.UA.

Governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin said at 01:11 that information about the UAV threat was received from the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Locally, in places of possible threat, warning systems may work. All emergency services have been brought to full readiness," he wrote.

Sirens were soon turned on in Saratov, and locals wrote online about the sounds of UAVs flying over and Russian air defense attempts to work on targets.

In the meantime, Rosaviatsia has imposed restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at Saratov's Gagarin airport.
