This can cause big problems.

The incident of Russian planes intruding into Estonian airspace could cause problems.

The U.S. President Donald Trump announced this at an Oval Office briefing.

One reporter asked the head of state if he considered the intrusion of Russian fighter jets into Estonian airspace a threat to NATO.

"I don't like it when that happens. It can cause big problems. I will get a report on this event soon," Trump said.

Remember, three Russian MiG-31K fighter jets violated Estonian airspace on Friday, September 19.

The jets were on a course toward Tallinn and were over Estonia for 12 minutes. The military raised Italian F-35 fighter jets to intercept them.

The Estonian government has asked NATO to hold consultations, prescribed by Article 4 of the Alliance's charter.
