Zelensky Reveals Who And What Exactly Ukraine Will Export To

There are weapons in surplus.

Ukraine will export some of its weapons to other countries, thanks to which it will cover the budget deficit. In this way, the production of drones for the front will increase.

The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky told about it in his evening address.

- Held a Stavka today. The main thing is the production of our weapons. There are clear volumes: what the Ukrainian army needs until the end of the year, also for the next year and what we should have in our warehouses for defense, for maintaining our sufficient force," Zelensky said.

According to him, we are talking about sufficient funding for the production of Ukrainian weapons, as well as production together with allies and supplying Ukraine with what the partners produce themselves.

- We will cover the deficit in funding for the production of weapons from this year, including through managed exports of some of our weapons. Thanks to such managed export we will increase the production of drones for the front, - the President of Ukraine noted.

He emphasized that Ukraine can produce certain types of modern weapons in much larger volumes than it can finance itself, and certain types of weapons in much larger volumes than they are actually needed.

"Example - marine drones, which the world counts on and which we have in surplus, also anti-tank weapons, some other types," Zelensky explained.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that the first priority is the front, the provision of brigades. The second priority is Ukrainian arsenals. And only the third priority is managed exports.

"Within two weeks a concept - three new export platforms - will be presented. The first platform is for export and interaction with the United States, the second platform is our European partners, the third direction is other partners in the world who are also interested in Ukrainian weapons and from whom Ukraine has received some kind of support," he said.

According to the Ukrainian head of state, it is obligatory that it should be mutual assistance.

"Ukraine will not engage in "armed charity" and help those who do not care about Ukraine. We are ready to work with those who really supported us, our independence," Zelensky emphasized.

He noted that there should be reliable export control so that Russians and their accomplices would not get to Ukrainian technologies, our weapons.

- Our Ukrainian companies, companies producing weapons, have talked a lot about it. There is a lot of interest in the world in joint projects with Ukraine to produce weapons. There is a clear demand for our weapons. Accordingly, thanks to managed exports, we will be able to accumulate money for more production of those things that our army needs," the Ukrainian president added.
