On September 19, the Russian Ministry of Justice updated the register of foreign agents, expanding it by five items. This follows from the information posted on the agency's website.

The list includes Z-blogger, ex-advisor to the governor of Kursk region Roman Alekhin.

In September, Telegram channels Shot and Mash reported suspicions against Alekhin in the possible laundering of funds collected for medicines for participants in the war against Ukraine. Videos of him discussing financial issues and kickbacks with unidentified individuals have surfaced online.

As Charter97.org wrote, on August 22, the Russian Justice Ministry declared former United Russia chief ideologist Sergey Markov a foreign agent.
