A photo of a modernized Russian Lancet was recently published by Ukrainian radio technology expert Sergey "Flesh" Beskrestnov in his Telegram channel.

"Questions are raised by the superstructure over the hull," the expert noted.

Later, "Flesh" added that the new element on the Lancet is an antenna. He said the Russians are installing a similar device on their Zala reconnaissance drones.

"There is a receiver-transmitter next to it. So this is a new type of control antenna," the radio technology specialist stated.
