  • 19.09.2025, 10:56

A Polish representative was summoned to the Foreign Ministry.

Official Minsk declared the Czech embassy counselor persona non grata. The diplomat must leave Belarus within 72 hours. According to the official representative of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Ruslan Voronkov, this is a retaliatory step to the expulsion of a Belarusian diplomat from the Czech Republic.

"As you already know, recently the authorities of the Republic of Poland and the Czech Republic have offered to leave the territory of their countries to Belarusian diplomats in the rank of advisor on absolutely far-fetched and groundless grounds," BelTA informs Voronkov.

In addition, today the Belarusian Foreign Ministry summoned the Charge d'Affaires of Poland. According to the Foreign Ministry, he had a detailed conversation with him about the current state of Belarusian-Polish relations. It is emphasized that the issue of expulsion of the Polish diplomat has not been raised.

Reminder, earlier the Czech Republic expelled a Belarusian diplomat, involved in the KGB spy network.
